SAFOSO is providing support to Costa Rica in the submission of documentation to the OIE to demonstrate the national BSE status and to revise the national BSE contingency plan.
SAFOSO is working closely with the national veterinary service to collate and review all relevant data and has provided support to strengthen the ongoing BSE surveillance and control programs.
