The Global Initiative for Food Systems Leadership (GIFSL), University of Minnesota, offers a one-week programme on Engaging with International Organisations. Since 2011, SAFOSO was co-leading this programme.
During the 7-day training, participants visited the World Health Organisation, the World Organisation for Trade (both in Geneva), the World Organisation for Animal Health (Paris) and the World Food Organisation (Rome). They engaged with staff of the organisations while working on a case study that is tailored to their personal learning objectives.
The programme is offered annually.
