Following up on a project conducted in 2007, SAFOSO supported a second EU-funded project that aimed to take stock of the progress in implementation of risk analysis in Viet Nam. It was also assessed which hurdles were hampering implementation by the relevant SPS authorities. Based on these findings, recommendations for investments were elaborated that should lead to a mainstreaming of risk analysis in Viet Nam.
